CHÂTEAU CANTENAC SÉLECTION MADAME 2020 Sustainable, AC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer
Ripe, well structured and New in Vintages, this Grand Cru Saint-Emilion is 99% Merlot with 1% Cab Sauvignon/Franc. It has a rather deep intense still-youthful purple-red-garnet colour. The nose shows great elegance and is focused on ripe Damson plums with a touch of violets and some toast-tinged minerality. Dry, medium-deep bodied and nicely structured with intense, ripe, dark plum flavours and a lingering, refined, faintly savoury, gently cedary, harmonious finish. Will age very gracefully and is perfect with a juicy steak. Aged for 12 months in French oak (225 L barrels 25% new), 3,000 cases produced annually. CSPC 35339
