CHIANTI CLASSICO 2019 DOCG |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
BORGO SALCETINO |
This tasty blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo was aged for 12 months in small oak. It has a medium-deep garnet colour and a bright, lively, faintly floral, plum-red-cherry nose with some minerally, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright and nicely structured with fresh, ripe, plum-cherry fruit that shows good persistence and balance with some faint earthy-sandalwood notes on the lingering, finish. Great with tomato-based pasta dishes. It has 13.5% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number LC19-3 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |
