Medium purple red colour. Intense, fairly complex, very slightly smoky, somewhat spicy, attractive, ripe, red and black cherry puree nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, quite well structured, very slightly spicy, intense, fairly ripe, Damson plum, red-cherry-raspberry flavours with a lingering, very faintly smoky, gently cedary, still slightly grippy, youthful, well balanced, somewhat woodsy finish. French barrel aged (36% new) for only 10 months, it has 13.3% alcohol, 1.7 g/L residual sugar and 5.4 g/L total acidity with a 3.6 ph. CSPC 999516
