CÔTE DE NUITS-VILLAGES 2021 AC, Sustainable
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DOMAINE PANSIOT
Rather light red in colour, this northern part of the Cote d’Or comes a perfect expression of the sheer elegance of the Cote de Nuits with its sensuous aromas of violets and roses with minerally, ripe, fraise de bois fruit. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, elegant, bright but velvety, ripe, fresh, raspberry and gentle sour cherry fruit are balanced by a lingering, hazelnut-tinged finish. It has 13% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar. NEW in Vintages. CSPC 34252

TASTING NOTE: (Translated from the French) Light red colour with ruby highlights. Aromas of sour cherry wrapped in delicately toasted wood. The palate shows powerful fruit, but the wine's aging is evident. The tannins are softening and provide freshness on the finish. A promising wine. Score - 91 (gilbertgaillard.com, 2022) Price $ 48.95
