| NEW in Vintages. This new, very well-priced Mendoza blend of 80% Malbec and 20% Syrah is a genuine, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser. Deep intense purple colour, it has ripe, bright, plummy. black cherry and cassis fruit on the nose with a gentle touch of oak. Dry, medium bodied, and nicely structured with ripe Damson plum and cherry-raspberry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, lifted finish. About 60% is aged in previously used French oak for 12 months, the balance in stainless steel. It has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19923 on the back label. |
