| Medium-deep red colour. Gently spicy, ripe, plummy nose with a touch of crancherry and sandalwood. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, ripe, plummy fruit with a lingering, bright, fairly firm, sandalwood-tinged finish. This tasty blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Greek Agiorgitiko is aged for 12 months in French oak (1/3 new). A versatile, almost ready-to-drink style that has 13.5% alcohol and under 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L15323A3 on the back label. Blind tasted against the 2020 (lot number L23723B1) which has a deep intense purple colour and a richer medium+ bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, nicely structured, ripe, plummy fruit flavours which scored 91-points. |
