TASTING NOTE: An aged, savory and traditional expression here with dried-herb, tobacco, walnut and balsamic notes to the plums and cherries. Quite dry, with bright acidity and some tart cherries, rounded by firm, chalky tannins. Long, savory finish. Drink now [through mid-2030s]. Score - 91 (jamessuckling.com, Sept. 9, 2022) |
