Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer RIZZI0
If you enjoyed the very attractive, faintly richer 2018 Barbaresco on December 11, 2021 you will not be disappointed by this ripe accessible 2020. Medium deep red in colour, the nose is gently floral with dried roses and violet notes along with some faint Indian spices, hints of leather, ripe plums and sandalwood-cassis notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, nicely structured, bright, harmonious, ripe, plum-black-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, mineral-tinged, gentle sandalwood finish. Showing nicely, it has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22BB20R on the back label. CSPC 478958
