FINCA TRES OLMOS LIAS VERDEJO 2021 DO Rueda
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer GARCIARÉVALO
Bright very pale straw colour. Bright, slightly spicy, very faintly toasty, ripe lemon nose with lots of mineral notes. Dry medium bodied, nicely structured, harmonious, ripe, lemon-melon-lemon fruit flavours with a lingering, gently complex, bright finish. Very attractive and well priced, it is a great example of the high quality of whites coming out of Rueda today. This organic 100% Verdejo was aged on the lees for five months (giving the impression of toast) and has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L230620 on the back label.

TASTING NOTE: Lees ageing has leant great texture to this lovely little Verdejo. It's full of flavour, showing white peach, jasmine and pineapple with stony, mineral undertones. This is bright and fresh now, but will develop more complexity with bottle age. Drinking window: 2022-2025. Score - 90 (Natalie Earl, decanter.com, Sept. 20, 2022) Price $ 14.95
