COUNTY UNFILTERED PINOT NOIR 2019 Vegan, VQA Prince Edward County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer NORMAN HARDIE
Bright medium violet-red colour. Intense, complex, bright, plum-cherry-cranberry fruit with lots of mineral notes along with a touch of raspberry, sandalwood and cedar. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, fairly intense, tangy, fresh, ripe, plum-raspberry-crancherry flavours and a lingering, crisp, mineral-tinged finish with a faint touch of oak. Bright with fine cool climate purity that would work well with salmon, poultry and even a steak. Don’t fret about the 11.5% alcohol - it has very fine mouthfeel due to being unfiltered and extended lees aging. Screwcap closure - it can still evolve for up to another 5 years. CSPC 125310
