CUVÉE PRESTIGE WHITE 2022 PGI Peloponnese
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DOMAINE SKOURAS
Here is a modern well-priced internationally-styled white based on two indigenous Greek grapes Roditis Alepou and Moschofilero that is a genuine crowd-pleaser. Pale straw in colour, the spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe, winter melon nose is followed up by dry, medium to medium-light bodied, bright, lychee-tinged, ripe, pear-melon-lemon fruit flavours with a crisp, harmonious finish. Versatile and ready-to-drink, it has 13% alcohol, 6 g/L total acidity and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L230607 on the back label. Screwcap closure. CSPC 32386

TASTING NOTE: This wine is a blend of Roditis Alepou grapes from 33-year-old vines and Moschofilero from 28-year old vines. It's floral, lifted, lively and aromatic, with a truly jaunty nature and complex notes of citrus, avocado, jasmine and mint. Quite plush and extravagant in the mouth, it's a tangy example of the exciting white wines coming out of Greece today. Price $ 16.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
