Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer VIGNA MADRE
Medium straw colour. Extremely attractive, gently complex, slightly nutty, intense, lemon-apple nose with lots of mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, surprisingly well structured, slightly spicy with typical Pecorino nuttiness with ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours and a lingering, refreshing, mineral-tinged finish. NEW in Vintages - it is extremely well done and at a great price. It has 13% alcohol, 6.4 g/L total acidity and actually only 3.3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L23187 (freshly bottled on July 6, 2023). CSPC 31380

TASTING NOTE: This is a really gorgeous organic pecorino that speaks quality from start to finish. Look for luscious fruit in the flavour profile, mainly in the white-flesh range, paired with vibrant, clean acidity that refreshes with every sip. It's perfectly balanced, harmonious, and simply delicious. Enjoy it on its own or with food, preferably while it's young. Suggested drinking window: now to 2024.
