Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer FRANÇOIS VILLARD
Deep intense purple colour, the nose is fairly complex, slightly spicy and quite intense with lots of ripe, black-cherry-raspberry fruit. Dry, medium bodied and nicely structured, the spicy, gently complex, sandalwood-tinged, ripe, plummy-raspberry flavours are followed up by a lingering, crisp, gently cedary, bright finish. This ready-to-drink, versatile, crowd-pleasing Syrah has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number LCRSY19 on the back label. CSPC 12978
