KEW VINEYARDS |
Medium-deep red colour with a faint amber tinge. Intense, complex, somewhat earthy, gently spicy, maturing. ripe, plum-cherry nose with some minerally, cedar-tinged, raspberry notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, slightly spicy, maturing, ripe, crancherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, faintly earthy, complex, cedar-sandalwood-tinged finish that shows good mid-palate structure. Perfect pairing with prime medium-rare roast beef. Aged for 15 months in French oak (1/3 new), it has 14 % alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 2021-06-15 on the lower part of the glass bottle. A versatile, ready-to-drink crowd-pleaser and tastes best in a larger Pinot Noir glass. |
