| Assessed from a just-released bottle, this 2022 vintage has an attractive, gently spicy, floral, faintly honeyed nose with ripe, fresh, peachy-melon-apple aromas. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, fresh, ripe, melon-apple-pear flavours with a lingering, crisp, mineral-tinged finish. A versatile, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser that has actually has 13.1% alcohol, 3.4 g/L residual sugar and 6.5 g/L total acidity with a NEW lot number AKL31-23031 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure and a real crowd-pleaser perfect for Thanksgiving festivities. A REPEAT of the recommended 2022 (**+) was last released on April 1, 2023 at $21.95. |
