| This lovely, fleshy, new-in-Vintages Finca Los Cedros 100% organic Malbec is just in time for Thanksgiving. Extremely deep intense purple in colour, it has a beautiful, ripe, bright, perfumed, cassis-black-cherry-raspberry purée nose with some faintly smoke-tinged, cedar no.tes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured and mouthfilling, the ripe, Damson-plum-cassis flavours are followed by a lingering, toasty, vanilla bean finish. Fermented/aged 50% in concrete tanks and 50% in oak barrels for 10 months, it goes through minimal filtration. Drinking very well now, this genuine crowd-pleaser has 14.5% alcohol and under 3 g/L residual sugar |
