Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |

Deep intense purple colour. Intense, bright, maturing, ripe, plum nose with some gently cedary, slightly savoury notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, fairly dense, bright, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, fairly fleshy, sandalwood-tinged, minerally finish. This blend of 89% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvigno and 3% Malbec has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. Ready-to-drink and highly recommended with a steak and/or roast beef. |

TASTING NOTE: 89% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Malbec. Pristine definition of pure and driving damson, cherry and plum, with understated vanilla oak. Deep and long, the palate reveals a cascade of fleshy black fruits over ripe, fine-grained tannins and fruit-bonded acidity. Lovely stuff. [Drink through 2028.] Score - 95 (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2020) |
