LE MONARQUE CÔTES DU RHÔNE BLANC 2022 AP |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
LES VIGNERONS DU CASTELAS |
This Rhone white blend of 60% Viognier, 20% Grenache and 20% Roussanne has an extremely pale straw colour with a minerally, fresh, faintly spicy, floral, slightly leesy, lemon-melon-apple nose. It is very dry, medium to medium-light bodied and bright with spicy, fresh, ripe, apple-melon flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked finish that has some mineral notes. It’s ready-to-drink and best with oysters and seafood. It has a hefty 14% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L23/107.1VF on the back label. |
