| Bright medium deep purple colour. Spicy, warm, ripe, plum -crancherry nose with some savoury, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, faintly tart, tangy, dried plum flavours with a very crisp, leathery, sandalwood-tinged, minerally finish. This Sicilian Nero d’Avola has 14% alcohol and under 5 g/L residual sugar. Would pair well with a spicy, pepperoni pizza. |
