Fairly intense purple colour. Very spicy, bright, ripe, cherry-plum-raspberry purée nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, tangy, spicy, gently juicy, plummy, black cherry flavours with a crisp, cedary, raspberry-tinged finish. This California crowd-pleaser has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. |

A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
TASTING NOTE: This Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for a year in American oak and delivers quite big, bold, juicy blueberry and blackcurrant alongside mocha and spice, with savoury, lifted herbs. It shows good structure and balance and would be excellent with grilled meats. |
