CHIANTI CLASSICO 2020 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CASTELLO DI BOSSI C. BERARDENGA
Bright fairly deep purple colour. Bright, slightly spicy, gently savoury, plum-currant nose with some fairly complex, cedar-tinged, minerally notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly intense, very slightly tart, raspberry-plum-red-currant flavours with a lingering, cedar-tinged, minerally, slightly grippy sandalwood finish. Perfect with tomato-based sauces. This 100% Sangiovese has 14% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L.27/23 on the back label suggesting that it was bottled on January 27, 2023.
