CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2019 Alexander Valley, Sonoma County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ARCHIMEDES
This is the 7th Vintages release of Francis Ford Coppola’s Alexander Valley flagship red. Very deep intense purple colour. The nose is intense, complex and quite attractive with an abundance of ripe plum-black-cherry-raspberry puree fruit with a faint hints of evergreen and lots of cedar-cassis notes. Dry, full bodied, dense, well structured, rather spicy, intense, expansive, ripe, plummy-black-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, rather cedary, bright finish. This blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec was aged for 20 months in French oak. It has 14.9% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar should age well for many years to come. The lot number 25621 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 431825
