Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer VALDEMAR
This 8th Vintages 2019 Rioja release is one of Valdemar’s best. Fairly deep garnet colour with an amber edge. Intense, gently complex, slightly spicy, very cedary, ripe, plummy-cherry-cassis nose with some slightly earthy, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-to-medium-full bodied, well structured, bright, intense, warm, ripe, plum-cassis flavours with a lingering, nicely textured finish. Excellent value, try with roasted meats. it has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number LINS193123 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 166512
