Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ALTA-YARÍ
This very tasty blend from the cool high-altitude Valle de Uco has 60% Cabernet Franc, 35% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and comes with an extremely deep intense purple colour. Elegant, intense, slightly floral, fresh rose aromatics along with ripe plum, cassis and raspberry fruit. Dry, medium-full bodied, harmonious and mouthfilling but balanced, the very attractive, ripe, Damson plum fruit with nuances of raspberry, cassis and black cherry plus some minerality and gently cedary pink peppercorn notes. Aged in French oak barrels for 16 months, it has 15% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L11723 on the back label. CSPC 24894
