| Very deep intense purple colour. Bright, intense, ripe, plum-cherry-raspberry purée nose with some faintly savoury, gently cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, well structured, harmonious, slightly spicy, intense, ripe, cassis-plum flavours with a lingering, sandalwood-cedar-tinged, faintly savoury, slightly grippy finish. Starting to be approachable and best with a rib steak. This very tasty 100% Malbec has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L06623 on the back label. The final blend consists of 40% aged in stainless steel Ithe fruit) and 60% in French oak for 12 months (the complexity). |
