SKETCHES OF NIAGARA ROSÉ 2021 VQA Niagara Peninsula
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer TAWSE
This new blend of 52% Pinot Noir, 40% Cabernet Franc, 6% Gamay and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon has a very bright light pink colour and a fresh, minerally, red apple and orchard fruit nose. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied and slightly spicy with fresh, ripe, crancherry-apple flavours and a crisp, faintly mineral-tinged finish. Very pleasant and ready-to-drink, it has 11.5% alcohol, 11 g/L residual sugar (and yet not at all sweet) with 6.5 g/L total acidity. Screwcap closure.
