TAWSE |
This new blend of 52% Pinot Noir, 40% Cabernet Franc, 6% Gamay and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon has a very bright light pink colour and a fresh, minerally, red apple and orchard fruit nose. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied and slightly spicy with fresh, ripe, crancherry-apple flavours and a crisp, faintly mineral-tinged finish. Very pleasant and ready-to-drink, it has 11.5% alcohol, 11 g/L residual sugar (and yet not at all sweet) with 6.5 g/L total acidity. Screwcap closure. A REPEAT of the recommended 2021 (**/**+) was released on April 15, 2023 at $18.95. |

TASTING NOTE: A fleshy rosé made from an assemblage of pinot noir, cabernet franc and gamay. Upbeat and flavourful, with a medium copper colour. Features flavours of muddled strawberries, [redcurrants] and pomelo. Wellbalanced with a dry finish of good length. Chill and crack. Best to drink by the end of the year. Tasted April 2023.
