RED BLEND NV California
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer MEIOMI
NEW in Vintages. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Bright, intense, spicy, ripe, plummy-black-cherry purée nose with some cedary notes. Somewhat sweetish, medium-full bodied, dense, very spicy, ripe, jammy, plummy-black-cherry fruit flavours with a lingering, bright, cedary, fruity, sweetish, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. This crowd-pleaser has 13.7% alcohol and according to the LCBO 32 g/L residual sugar. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing what is in this California blend, the vintage date and/or when it was bottled. The lot number LW24422030904 is on the lower part of the glass bottle. Love it or hate it, it’s a style that I would classify as being a well-made entry-level red for beginners. CSPC 29940

TASTING NOTE: This is an expressive, complex non-vintage red blend sourced from fog-cooled coastal vineyards that provide balance to the wine's sweet edge. The fruit is bold, upfront, juicy and fresh. Look for blackberry, red cherry, strawberry, mocha and vanilla. Price $ 24.95
