BEAUJOLAIS 2022 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHATEAU DE LA CHAUME
This is not a Vintages item and was originally tasted on July 22, 2023 when released. I updated this note on February 20, 2024 from a new bottle with lot number L23096 on the upper part of the glass. Here is my review: This 2022 100% Gamay has a youthful bright purple-red colour. The fragrant, attractive, ripe, bright, plum-cherry-strawberry nose hits the spot and is followed up by dry, medium bodied, nicely balanced, fresh, ripe, Damson plum and cherry-raspberry fruit flavours followed up with a lingering, crisp finish. Quite delicious, versatile and ready-to-drink, this crowd-pleaser has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 32624

TASTING NOTE: Cherry red with garnet-red reflection. This elegant Beaujolais offers fresh aromas of raspberry and red currant fruit with gentle floral notes of violets. Refreshing fruit on the palate with well-balanced acidity and smooth tannins. Enjoy it with roast pork, poultry or charcuterie. Price $ 18.90
