Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

PELLER |
Bright very pale salmon pink colour with an elegant, faintly spicy, fresh, apple-plum-apricot nose with some slight mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, very slightly spicy, ripe, apricot-winter-melon fruit with a lingering, well balanced, bright, crisp finish. This tasty blend of mostly Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir and Pinot Meunier has 12.5% alcohol, 3 g/L residual sugar and about 6 g/L total acidity. It was whole bunch pressed, cool fermented and aged in (90%) stainless steel tanks and (10%) neutral oak barrels. Versatile and ready-to-drink with a screwcap closure. |

TASTING NOTE: This lithe, pretty rosé has excellent intensity and a bright fruity character. It shows generous red berry, cherry, strawberry, apple and melon. A serious wine that has a fun, boisterous side. Try it with your favourite barbecue fare or hold onto it to add a touch of summery glee to a holiday meal. |
