New in Vintages. This premium tier of Greystone comes from it own vineyards. Bright faintly ambering medium-deep red colour. Attractive, intense, slightly spicy, fairly complex, ripe, strawberry-raspberry-crancherry fruit on the nose with some complex, very gently cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly dense, slightly spicy, bright, ripe, plummy, crancherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high-acid, gently cedary, schisty finish. This 10% whole bunch, wild ferment of four clones (115/667/777/5) was aged in 28% new French oak for 11months. It has 13.5% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19092 on the back label. Screwcap closure. CSPC 30151

TASTING NOTE: Fragrant, floral, varietal and fruity. A delightful and enticing bouquet of red and purple skinned fruits, a core of minerality and gentle savoury tones. Youthful, crisp and salivating on the palate. Flavours of red cherry and plum, wild forest flowers and a core minerality. Fine tannins with an equally fine chalky texture, low to moderate oak flavours and textures, youthful acid line and lengthy elegant finish. Best drinking from day of purchase and through 2028+.
