ROSÉ 2022 IGP Méditerranée |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
TRIENNES |
Here is our previous review. Here is a youthful new blend of principally Cinsault blended with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot. It has a bright, pale, salmon pink hue and a mineral-tinged, ripe, plummy, apple-crancherry nose with some faintly leesy floral notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, bright,plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, mineral-tinged finish. Quite ready to drink, this crowd-pleaser has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21 on the back label and a screwcap closure. |

TASTING NOTE: Domaine de Triennes was founded in 1989 by Burgundians Jacques Seysses (Domaine Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine (DRC) and Parisian Michel Macaux. This rosé is lithe, floral and complex, with generous sunny apricot, citrus, strawberry, raspberry, melon, and garrigue undertones. Sip, serve for brunch with a niçoise salad and grilled tuna, or have at dinner with grilled salmon or chicken. |
