CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2021 Napa Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer THE PRISONER WINE COMPANY)
Here is our recent tasting note. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Attractive, very bright, gently complex, ripe, plummy-black-cherry-cassis nose with some slightly spicy, cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, harmonious, ripe, bright, cassis-plum-black-cherry fruit flavours with fine mouhfeel and balance followed up be a lingering, gently cedary, raspberry-cassis finish. Very tasty and accessible now, it should hold well for a several more years. This crowd-pleasing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Petite Sirah and Charbono was aged 15 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels (55% new). It has 15% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 20723
