DEHESA LA GRANJA 2016 Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ
Bright deep intense purple colour with an attractive, intense, slightly spicy, faintly rustic, leather-tinged, ripe plummy nose with some cedary notes and hints of dried roses and violets. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, spicy, intense, bright, ripe, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly dense, cedary finish. This 100% Tempranillo has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with number L-C231607 on the back label. It spent 2+ years in American oak and is unfiltered and hence the excellent mouthfeel. Rioja fans must try this best buy! CSPC 192476
