TASTING NOTE: This is a pretty, easy-drinking red with plenty of dark volcanic character along with black currant, lavender bud, white pepper and campfire ash. The Terredora di Paolo 2020 Lacryma Christi Vesuvio Rosso is a midweight wine with fine, dusty tannins that are well integrated (after a brief six to eight months in oak). The wine is true to the grape with a fresh, food-friendly disposition. Drink date: 2022-2025. Score - 89 (Monica Larner, robertparker.com, Oct. 6, 2022) Price $ 26.95
