| Here is a reliable, crowd-pleasing, ready-to-drink Rioja that has lots of fans. Released annually for the past 18 years, it has a medium-deep ruby colour with a spicy, bright, juicy, ripe, plummy-cherry-blueberry purée nose with some gently cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, spicy, somewhat tangy, attractive, juicy, ripe, raspberry-plum-black-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, gently cedary finish. This 40/60 blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo was fermented in stainless steel and matured in barrel for four months. This ultra modern take on Rioja has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L5142 on the back label. |
