Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
XAVIER VIGNON |
A SECOND REPEAT of the 2020 that was last released on November 19, 2022 at $17.95. Just retasted, this has a fairly deep purple garnet colour. Slightly spicy, ripe, plum-cherry-raspberry nose with some faint licorice-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cassis-raspberry flavours with a lingering, crisp, sandalwood-licorice-tinged finish. Don’t wait, it’s quite ready-to-drink now. This 14.5% alcohol organic blend of 75% Syrah, 10% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% other grape varieties has 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2332S on the upper part of the glass bottle. |
