| This tasty, ready-to-drink, Vintages Essential has a fairly intense purple colour. The nose is slightly spicy, bright, ripe, plummy-crancherry fruit with some gently cedary, faintly peppery notes. Dry, medium bodied with slightly spicy, crisp, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, fresh, bright finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L-C2303082167A on the back label. This crowd-pleasing blend of 80% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon spent 12 months in new French and American oak before being bottled. |
