| This delicious just-tasted 2019 Vintages Essential has a very deep intense dark purple colour. Lovely, intense, complex,maturing, ripe, plum-cherry-raspberry nose with some faintly earthy, sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, very nicely structured, harmonious, mouth filling, intense, rich, bright, ripe, plum-black-cherry-raspberry flavours with a lingering, bright, rounded, cassis-tinged finish with an elegant cedar-sandalwood notes along with a touch of appassimento sweetness and excellent acidity. Beautifully balanced with fine structure and bright acidy. A joy to drink now! This delicious blend of 35% Corvinone, 35% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 10% Rossignola has 16.5% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1 on the back label. Try with a Osso Bucco or perhaps Confit of Duck. |

| This long-time Vintages Essential Amarone is made using an ancient method of air-drying grapes. The wines are intense, rich and Port-like, but dry. This has cherry, dried fruit, fig and pressed-violet aromas. Superb with roasted meats like lamb, or more exotic dishes such as beef vindaloo. |
