| Malagousia is an aromatic white variety that was rescued from near extinction 40 years ago and is grown in north-western Macedonia. This youthful 2022 has a bright pale straw colour with an intense, still slightly leesy, spicy, floral, yellow grapefruit nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, mineral-driven, faintly tart, apple-melon-grapefruit flavours with a lingering, unoaked, still somewhat grippy finish. Unoaked and aged \"sur lies\" for two months with regular stirring, it as 13.5% alcohol and under 1 g/L residual sugar. Great with seafood. |

| TASTING NOTE: Unoaked and highly aromatic, this is an intensely flavoured wine that's brimming with youthful exuberance. It's elegant and textured, with superb purity and notes of red flowers, lime, peach and mineral. This has the stuffing and potential to age through 2028. |
