Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
VIDUSSI |
This NEW in Vintages, lovely, indigenous, Friulian, Ribolla Gialla is a true Springtime crowd-pleaser. it has a bright pale straw colour and a charming, very gently spicy, floral, ripe, apricot-apple nose with some faint citrusy notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, bright, melon-lemon-apple purée flavours with a lingering, perfectly balanced, bright, crisp finish. Versatile and near it’s peak, it has 13% alcohol and about 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22335P on the back label. |

TASTING NOTE: (Translated from the German): Rich straw yellow with green notes. Inviting nose with notes of tangerine, peach and mango, nice interplay. On the palate delicate resinous notes, becomes quite full in the later course, slightly nutty tones in the finish. Score - 90 (Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler, falstaff.at, May 27, 2022) |
