WATERFALL GULLY CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2019 Ferguson Valley, Western Australia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer AYLESBURY
This NEW in Vintages blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot has a Deep intense purple-red colour and a rather smoky, cedary, ripe, intense, slightly spicy, mint-tinged, black cherry nose. Very pleasant but not much to do with Cabernet Sauvignon. Dry, medium bodied, quite rounded, ripe, plummy, black-cherry-cassis flavours followed up by a lingering, gently smoky, faintly herbal, cedary finish. Quite ready to drink and great with burgers hot off the grill. It has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L200922 on the back label. CSPC 27363

TASTING NOTE: It's beautifully fruited and elegantly complex on the nose showing blackcurrant, spiced cherry, mint and toasted nut characters. The palate offers pristine fruit flavours together with silky texture and polished tannins, making it immediately appealing and delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2027.
