| Deep violet-purple colour. Intense, slightly spicy, ripe, plum-cherry puree nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, attractive, slightly spicy, intense, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, harmonious, faintly savoury, bright, sandalwood-cedar finish. This new blend of 35% Corvina, 35% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella and 10% Rossignola, Oseleta, Negrara and Dindarella has 14.5% alcohol with only 3 g/L residual sugar and a hefty 6.5 g/L total acidity. It had a slow alcoholic fermentation on the marc of Amarone and Recioto followed by malolacatic and up to 2 years in Slovonian oak with no fine filtration meaning great high dry extract of 35 g/L. |

| TASTING NOTE: Always nice to revisit the elegance of Tedeschi's Ripasso, with its vibrant red fruit, acid lift, and alcohol in perfect balance. The tannins are angular, and pleasantly firm.
