KIM CRAWFORD PINOT NOIR 2021 New Zealand
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KIM CRAWFORD
This new 2021 is the #1 favourite NZ red in Canada. One of the best tasted to date, the price has dropped from the initial release of $25.95 to $22.95 (as of December 2023). It has a medium deep violet colour and a very attractive, bright, ripe, plummy-crancherry nose with some faintly toasty blueberry notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, very bright, gently juicy, fresh, ripe, plummy-cherry flavours with a refreshing, strawberry-tinged, harmonious finish. A genuine crowd-pleaser, it is ready-to-enjoy and pairs well with turkey, salmon and even ham. Aged in new and second-use barrels, it has 12.7% alcohol and only 2.2 g/L residual sugar. This Vintages Essential comes with a screwcap closure and is available in over 500 LCBO outlets. CSPC 626390
