CHARDONNAY 2020 Sonoma County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SIMI
This new 2020 harmonious, crowd-pleasing Sonoma Valley Chard maintains its ready-to-drink, tropical-toasty style of yesteryear. It has a bright medium straw colour with an intense, very spicy, fairly tropical, ripe, pineapple-tinged, lemon-apple meringue nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied and smooth, the spicy, topical-driven, ripe, lemon-apple-pear flavours are followed with a fairly crisp, lingering, bright, cedary finish. Best with poultry and white meats. It has 13.5% alcohol and and tastes a tad sweeter than its 2 g/L residual sugar. The lot number L22034 appears on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. CSPC 673806
