| From the eastern shores of Lake Garda comes this delicious 2021 Bardolino (the 14th release in Vintages since 2009) a joyously drinkable lightish red that hits the spot being perfect for immediate consumption. It has a medium ruby-red colour with an expansive, bright, fairly juicy, ripe, plummy nose. It’s dry, medium to medium-light bodied and very slightly spicy with attractive, gently juicy, ripe, plum-cherry-raspberry flavours followed up by a crisp, lingering finish. A versatile, crowd-pleaser, this tasty blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara has 12.5% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number L.305 on the back label. |
