RED TRACTOR CABERNET/MERLOT 2020 VQA Niagara Peninsula
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CREEKSIDE
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, youthful, ripe, plummy, crancherry nose with some gently minerally notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, intense, gently grippy, fairly dense, ripe Damson plum flavours with a lingering, bright, faintly peppery, minerally, sandalwood finish. Try with a bbq steak. This blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc has 13.5% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with a cork closure with lot number L052622 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Still quite firm, this is definitely improved since last tasted on November 5, 2022 at $17.95 and will even be better in a year from now. CSPC 11851
