MONTAGUE VINEYARD PINOT NOIR 2019 VQA Four Mile Creek, Niagara-on-the-Lake
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer INNISKILLIN
This 2019 has a bright, youthful, medium-deep purple red colour. Pleasant, very bright, slightly cedary, somewhat spicy, fairly intense, plum-crancherry nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, bright, fairly ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a very slightly cedary, somewhat polished, crisp, fresh finish. Quite ready-to-drink and can still improve, it would go well with salmon and/or poultry. Following a 11-day fermentation at 25º, it was aged for 15 months in a combo of new and older French oak. It has 13% alcohol, 2 g/L residual sugar and 6.1 g/L total acidity with lot number L210811 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. CSPC 997353
