Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
ARGIANO |
This Tuscan blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 20% Sangiovese has an extremely deep intense purple colour. Gently complex, sandalwood-tinged, plum-red-cherry nose with some faintly earthy, mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, well structured, gently spicy, firm, youthful, plum flavours with a lingering, crisp finish. Can still evolve - it has 14.5% alcohol and 2.8 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22158 on the back label. |
