DISTINCTION BACO NOIR 2021 VQA Ontario
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer TRIUS
Youthful deep purple colour Very fresh, slightly spicy, somewhat floral. rosehip nose with youthful, very faintly leesy, ripe, plummy-raspberry fruit. Dry, medium bodied, youthful, tangy, bright, fresh, plum, red and black cherry fruit flavours along with some lingering, bright, minerally, sandalwood notes. Still quite youthful, I would like to taste it in six months time. It was fermented on skins for 14 days and aged for 8 months in 100% French oak barrels followed up by full malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity. Has 12.5% alcohol, a hefty 10 g/L residual sugar and 6.2 g/L total acidity with lot number 21391736L1 on the lower part of the glass bottle. New in Vintages. CSPC 31811
