Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer 689 CELLARS
Deep intense purple colour. The nose is very juicy with lots of spicy, ripe, raspberry-black-cherry fruit with toasty-vanilla notes. Faintly off-dry and medium to medium-full bodied with intense, spicy, ripe, raspberry jam and chocolate-covered-cherry flavours along with a lingering, cedary, rather tangy finish. This New World crowd-pleasing blend of Zinfandel, Grenache, Malbec and Petite Sirah will appeal to open-minded imbibers who are not encumbered by more traditional styles. It has 14.5% alcohol and a hefty 9 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22088 and 3312107C551 on the lower part of the glass bottle. BBQ rib time. CSPC 22602
